Cabernet Sauvignon 50%, Tempranillo 50%
Tempranillo is a grape variety taken from our 5 hectares of vineyards Vina Norte and the Cabernet Sauvignon is from our vineyards El Duende with an area of 4 hectares. Both vineyards are cultivated on high density trellises in leafy areas with a density of 2800 plants per hectare.
It is a vibrant cherry-red in colour. On the nose it has an intense aroma of dark berries with subdued background fragrances of fruit compote and marmalade enhanced with spices of pepper and cloves and finally finished with a delicate archetypal regional touch of licorice and fennel seed. On the palate, it is an expressive, well rounded smooth wine with mature tannins and lingering after taste. The touches of oak render it sweet but with an earthy finish and a spicy mineral background.
